Clonough and Hollybrook Riding Clubs are the latest teams to qualify for next months Championship decider on Sunday 20th August at Barnadown Show Jumping near Gorey, Co. Wexford.
Eight teams, representing six clubs, contested the qualifier at Spruce Lodge, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow where Hollybrook ran out victors.
The Wicklow-based club, which last won the team title in 2014 and 2009, secured their place in the final after their team of Margot Brama Labberte (Kilpatrick Cruise), Delphi MacWhite (Hollybrook High In The Sky), Rebecca Minch (Mr Beringo), and Lisa Devine (Myceltic Imposter) finished with a team total of 72.02%.
The Clonough team of Tanya Lock (Rathcline Moonlight Girl), Pat White (Velvet Mountain), Katherina Ivory (On The Motorway (IRE)) and Danielle Cullen (Redmondstown Blue) took the remaining qualification spot on offer after the took the runner-up spot on 70.13%.
Greenvalley completed the podium in third place on 70.07% after Clonough edged them out after the second session of tests.
