The Association is delighted to welcome both returning and new sponsors to this year’s 36th Riding Clubs Festival. First established in 1990 at Punchestown Racecourse, the festival has grown into a key fixture in the national riding club calendar.
Longstanding supporters TRI Equestrian and The Irish Field have once again committed their support, sponsoring the Show Jumping and Dressage competitions.
Premier Performance will sponsor the RDS Team Show Jumping Wildcard qualifier, which takes place on Saturday and is expected to be a highlight of the festival.
A number of new sponsors have joined this year’s event to support the ridden showing classes. Aloga Equestrian will sponsor Equitation Showing, while Top Spec will sponsor the Veteran Horse Showing, Novice Showing, and Riding Horse (Over 158) classes. Uniblock will sponsor the Introduction to Showing classes, and Treo Eile will sponsor the award for the highest placed Thoroughbred in the Open Performance Hunter classes.
The Association continues to welcome additional sponsorship, and anyone interested in supporting a showing class is encouraged to contact Elaine at [email protected].
The two-day festival will take place at Mullingar Equestrian Centre on Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th of June. Clubs from across the country will compete in over 70 competitions across dressage, show jumping, and showing disciplines.
The Riding Clubs Festival has been announced as a recipient of a 2025 HSI Breeding Grant following a successful application process. The breed showing classes are funded through the Breeding Grant Initiative under National Breeding Services, with the support of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland.
