The AIRC Riding Clubs Festival is one of Ireland’s biggest amateur equestrian sporting events in the country. It takes place at Mullingar Equestrian, Co. Westmeath on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026.
Over 70 dressage, show jumping, showing and working hunter classes take place over the two days.
Entries
Online entries open, via your Membership Online (MO) account, on Tuesday 21st April, and close at 12 noon on Thursday 7th May 2026.
Entries for National Championships and Events will only be accepted as per rule 9.3.
Consult the Show Schedule for further details.
Please note that some classes will be capped and will close once capacity has been reached.
Refund Policy
A 50% refund (excluding the admin charge and/or supplementary fee) will be issued for withdrawals received, using the online event refund request form (F14/11), no later than 12 noon on Friday 15th May.
No refunds will be issued for withdrawals received after this date.
In the event of this championship being abandoned (i.e. after it started), for whatever reason, no refunds will be issued.
Stables & Hook-Ups
All enquiries and bookings for stabling are managed by Mullingar Equestrian. They can be contacted before or during the show via email at [email protected] or by calling Declan on 086 0331536
You can book Stables or Hook Ups online, via MEC's website, at this link.
Camping
Camping is available onsite but patrons may only camp in the designated camping area. Anyone found
camping outside of these areas will be asked to move and failure to comply will result in any competitor
being disqualified and any club may be fined at the discretion of the organisers.
A small fee has been introduced for camping this year, by the venue. This is to ensure safety, as the area
must be supervised at all times.
Those wishing to camp onsite must book a camping ticket to gain access to the camping area. Camping
tickets must be pre-booked with Mullingar Equestrian Centre directly. Please note that if you have not booked
your camping, you will not be permitted to enter the camping zone.
Any queries in relation to camping must be taken up with the venue directly; AIRC has no input on this.
