Tara Hill Riding Club secured the only place on offer at the Connolly’s RED MILLS Dressage Championships after they won the Midlands qualifier.

Just three teams, down from 11 the previous year, took part at the National Horse Sport Arena in Dublin on Sunday 19th June 2022.

The quartet of Edel King (Don Quixota), Miia Ruuskanen (Happy Gilmore), Maura Walsh (D.T.S First Flight), and Jane Brady (Cruicetown Isla) had a narrow victory as their tally of 430.07% kept them just ahead of their club mates in second place.

Sally Cunningham (Graf Landlord), Chris Carter (Cloonan Hector), Grace O’Brien (Ballygriffin Judy) and Carol Donnelly (Nazar Diamond) had to settle for the runners-up spot on 429.04%.

The Annaharvey team of Lynda O’Brien (Annaharvey Bantry Bay), Patricia Clark (Glenmont Clover), Shauna Hughes (Tierhogar Seve), and Maureen Dillon Bowers (Doris Rebel) competed the podium in third place on 401.77%.
