Killossery Riding Club is representing the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) at this weekend’s British Riding Clubs (BRC) NAF National Championships.
They will compete in the Senior Open 110 Team Jumping Championship tomorrow morning at the at the Lincolnshire show grounds in Lincoln, England where they will face approximately 10 of the best clubs from around the United Kingdom.
The competition gets underway at 8am in ring one and is expected to finish by lunchtime with individual championship.
The team includes Lisa Kennedy (Dunsoughly Nelson), Brian Cassidy (Looks Easy), Jacqui Boland (Maverick Na Ri) and Aoife Maguire (Mane Attraction).
Last year, Carne Riding Club finished in fifth place in the team event while Ann Lambert took a podium finish on Killinick Bouncer in third place. The Association previously won the BRC team championship in 2010 when Greenhills Riding Club claimed the honours.
The team Chef d’Equipe is Susan Cusack, who is a former secretary of the Dublin based club.
