Four North East teams through to 2019 Team Dressage decider

Four teams have made it through to the Connolly’s RED MILLS Team Dressage Championship final in August after the latest qualifier took place at Killossery Lodge Stud in Dublin recently.

The Border Counties club won the qualifier, where 16 teams from the North East took part, on a combined score of 424.16% with Castle Hill finishing second on 421.49% ahead of Drynam in third on 414.09%.

The winning Monaghan based team was made up of Gemma Kelly (Old Orchards Greg), Kirsten Winsryg (Cavalier Bobby Jo), Kileane Goubert (Cloncaw Smartie) and Sarah Lester (Langarth Donna).

The runners-up team of Lindsey Ilona Brady (Trigger Joe), Olivia Nolan (Bridgemount Eskert Lilly), David Smyth (Sel Livewire) and Klara Ralph O’ Connor (Castleview Ozzie) also secured their place at the final.

Drynam and Ashbrook took the remaining team places on offer for the final on the 18th August at Mullingar Equestrian.

The individual riders who qualified for the Advanced Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate classes were also confirmed.
