Members from the Burren, Galway, Galway West and Round Tower clubs donated between them €1,005 for Trocaire.
Organisers had hoped to raise €500 for the overseas development agency through the initiative but surpassed their target well before the deadline of May 5th.
The donations were made via online platforms.
