Stracomer and Letterkenny Riding Clubs are the latest clubs through to the final of the Connolly’s RED MILLS Team Dressage Championship in August.
Five teams, representing three clubs, contested the West region qualifier at Eglinton Equestrian Centre in Derry on Sunday 12th May.
The Stracomer team of Victoria Hopkins (Bo Peat), Magdalena Pliczko (Stracomer Super Trooper), Lorraine Gillespie (Carrickfact Rocco) and Tara Fergus Sheridan (Tirconaill River Rose) claimed the top spot on 209.1%
Magdalena Plickzko and Lorraine Gillespie both scored in the seventies to give the team a comfortable winning margin over Letterkenny in second place.
The team of Rachel Carton (Aughavannon Merlin), Vera Keatings (Madges Lane Jen), Tanya Gallagher (My Pal Al) and Cliff Haley (Irish Shadow) finished on a total of 203.3%.
Inishowen filled 3rd and 4th respectively while another Letterkenny team took 5th place.
