Treo Eile is delighted to continue its successful partnership with the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) for the 2026 season, further strengthening its commitment to rewarding and recognising members who ride and retrain thoroughbreds across Riding Club activities nationwide.
Since its launch in 2021, Treo Eile has remained dedicated to its core mission: to connect, support, and promote the retraining of racehorses. In recent years, there has been a notable and steady increase in the number of thoroughbreds մասնակցating in Riding Club events, reflecting the growing interest in retraining and the versatility of the breed.
Building on the success of previous years, Treo Eile will once again sponsor awards for thoroughbreds competing at both regional and national level events throughout the 2026 AIRC calendar. These awards will recognise the highest-placed thoroughbreds across a range of disciplines, including hunter trials, show jumping, dressage, eventing, and performance hunter classes.
The partnership will culminate in the AIRC Thoroughbred Aftercare Awards, presented at the Treo Eile Christmas Show, celebrating the achievements of standout thoroughbreds and their riders over the course of the season.
Treo Eile’s total sponsorship contribution for 2026 will amount to €2,100, reinforcing its ongoing support for thoroughbred aftercare and retraining initiatives within the Riding Club community.
Participation Conditions:
- Horses must be registered (free of charge) with Treo Eile via www.treoeile.com
- Horses must compete under their official Weatherbys (or equivalent) registered name
- Unnamed horses can be registered for non-racing purposes with Weatherbys at a reduced rate
This continued partnership reflects a shared commitment between Treo Eile and AIRC to promote the successful retraining of racehorses and to highlight the important role thoroughbreds play across all levels of equestrian sport in Ireland.
