The Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) is delighted to announce that international event rider Sarah Ennis will assess the final of the Grassroots Jump Training Series, which concludes on Saturday, 8th November at Emerald Equestrian, Co. Kildare.
Sarah Ennis is one of Ireland’s leading event riders, having represented the country at the highest level of the sport. She has competed at two editions of the World Equestrian Games (2014 and 2018), winning a team silver medal and finishing 5th individually in Tryon, North Carolina in 2018. Ennis has also enjoyed success at the European Championships, placing 4th with the Irish team and 7th individually in 2017. She competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and was also selected to represent Ireland at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The series provides riders with an opportunity to compete and train with an accredited coach offering real-time feedback in a competition environment.
Qualifiers will be taking place through September and October, with three competitions catering for RC 70 up to RC 110 graded riders in show jumping with training bursaries on offer for those who qualify for the final.
The AIRC would like to acknowledge the generous support of Sport Ireland and Horse Sport Ireland, whose funding made this series possible. In addition, Premier Performance is sponsoring vouchers for each qualifier, with prizes of €100 for 1st place, €75 for 2nd, and €50 for 3rd in every class.
The final promises to be a fitting conclusion to the series, with the added honour of having Sarah Ennis share her world-class expertise.
