Chris Carter has been elected as Chair and Dympna Gibbons as Vice Chair following a meeting of the Board of Directors held last week.

Their appointments were formally announced to members at last night’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking the beginning of their term in office.

Both Chris and Dympna bring valuable experience and commitment to their new roles and are looking forward to working with the Board, members, and stakeholders to continue strengthening and developing the organisation.

Speaking following his election, Chris Carter said:
“I am honoured to take on the role of Chair and I’m really looking forward to working with everyone involved. We have a strong association, and I hope to build on the excellent work already done and help make the association even better in the years ahead.”

We would like to sincerely thank outgoing Chair Louise Duffy and outgoing Vice Chair Ann Bloomer for their dedicated service over the past two years. Their leadership, hard work, and contribution have been greatly appreciated, and we are grateful for the time and energy they have given in support of the organisation.
