With less than three weeks to go to this years Riding Clubs Festival, TRI Equestrian, The Irish Field and Horse Sport Ireland port Ireland have committed themselves as sponsors for another year.The two-day festival takes place at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co. Laois on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June where over 100 clubs will attend to compete in over 70 competitions in dressage, show jumping and showing.

TRI Equestrian are title sponsors of the show jumping competitions and Philip Masterson, managing director, said, “TRI Equestrian are delighted to be once again involved in one of the biggest amateur equestrian sporting events of the year. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the festival in 2015 and we are looking forward to another successful collaboration this year.”

TRI Equestrian have been loyal sponsors since 2003 and also sponsor the Associations National Eventing Championships in September.

The Irish Field came on board as title dressage sponsors in 2012 and managing editor Leo Powell said, “The Irish Field is thrilled to be once again associated with this great event. As Ireland’s premier equestrian publication, and with a growing digital presence, we are anxious to promote our product to the largest possible audience.”

“Our sponsorship with AIRC is very beneficial as we produce weekly content that will hopefully interest and help the members of this vibrant organisation. We look forward to being present over the weekend and wish all competitors the very best.”

Elsewhere, the Riding Clubs Festival was recently announced as a recipient of a 2016 HSI Breeding Grant after an application process.

Commenting on the Breeding Grant, Alison Corbally, HSI Director of Breeding and Programmes said, “there was considerable interest expressed in the Breeding Grant, with shows from all over the country applying for sponsorship for a range of different events and disciplines. I would like to thank the Breeding Grant Evaluation Committee who worked very hard to ensure that the fund will support initiatives which will help breeders and contribute to the overall industry. I would also like to thank all parties that submitted applications and wish them luck for their upcoming event”.

Association of Irish Riding Clubs chairman, Tony Ennis said, “Our Riding Clubs Festival is our flagship event and with over 100 clubs and 1800 entries, it is one of the biggest amateur equestrian events in the country. Without the support of our three loyal sponsors, it would be impossible to stage this event and I thank them graciously for their continued support on behalf of all of our members.”
