Drynam Riding Club finished in fourth place, followed by Killcarrick Riding Club in fifth and the combined Benbulben/Stracomer Riding Club team in sixth.
Following the victory, Warrington Riding Club Secretary Michelle Delaney McCormack said:
“Warrington Riding Club are very proud of our team, the Warrington Wonder Women, who were the winning team in the Foran Equine RC70/80 Championship at the Association of Irish Riding Clubs National Show Jumping Championships in Mullingar. It was the second time the same team qualified for the competition and, after training all year with instructor Frazer Duffy, they secured the win.
The team was made up of Josephine Britton on Mikey Joe, Anne McGrath on Mahanagh Heather, June McGrath on Dromore Chinook and Joan Byrne on Nancy’s Boy. The team was helped and supported by fellow club members Anne Phelan Bradley, Francoise Foley Fisher, Roisin McGrath and Rory O’Sullivan Hennessy.
Huge thanks to Elaine and Nicola for organising this competition and to sponsors Foran Equine for the lovely rugs and prizes.”
Congratulations to all six teams who qualified for the final and delivered a fantastic display of team show jumping. The Association of Irish Riding Clubs extends its congratulations to Warrington Riding Club on becoming the 2026 Foran Equine RC70/RC80 Team Show Jumping Champions.
