Two teams will qualify from the West Midlands region for the Connolly’s Red Mills Team Dressage Championship after five teams took part in their decider last Sunday.

Two Tipperary clubs claimed the qualification spots on offer for next month’s championships including Friary and Unicorn.

The team of Sandra Hammersley Kracker Jack), Pauline Woodhouse (Mystical Melody), Natasha Brotherton (Irish Evie) and Jackie Dow (Juno Tintreach) were out in front for Friary on a team total of 413.15%.

This gave them a narrow advantage over second placed Unicorn Riding Club who finished on 409.02% to secure the other remaining place at the championship final in August.
