Restrictions lifted in Laois and Offaly but continue in Kildare

Competitions may resume in Laois and Offaly after the Government lifted the regional Covid-19 restrictions in the two counties yesterday with immediate effect.

The restrictions are to continue in Kildare for another two weeks including:

  • Competitions are suspended.
  • Training may continue outdoors, subject to a maximum of 15 people.
  • Members residing in the Kildare may not travel outside of their county to attend an AIRC activity.
  • Members residing outside of Kildare may not travel into the county to attend an AIRC activity.  While travel is permitted through the county, the Government is asking people not to stop in the county.

As always, please follow the advice of the government and health authorities during this time.

Continue to do the things that will protect yourself and others such as frequent hand wash, physical distancing and practice cough and sneeze etiquette.
