Thomastown & District Riding Club is representing the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) at this weekend’s British Riding Clubs (BRC) NAF National Championships.
The team includes Kieran Cahill (Srilanka Diamond), Niav Cahill (Dinan Sinead), Aisling Miklis (Lassban Miss Congeniality) and Maria Rockett (Stonehavens Olive).
The Kilkenny based club will compete in the Senior Open 110 Team Jumping Championship tomorrow morning at the Lincolnshire showgrounds in Lincoln, England where they will face 10 of the best clubs from around the United Kingdom.
The competition gets underway at 11am in ring one a with the second round due to begin at around 1:30pm. The individual championship final will follow shortly thereafter.
Last year, Killossery Riding Club claimed the runners-up place in the team event while Brian Cassidy also took a podium finish in third place in the individual competition on Looks Easy.
The team Chef d’Equipe is Gillian Hennessy, who is the secretary of the club.
