Before the team departed from their journey in France at the World Club Tournament, they were afforded a meeting with the Mayor of Lamotte-Beuvron, Pascal Bioulac who held a reception at City Hall.

The Mayor was presented with an Irish flag and a pen while he gifted the team a French flag along with a dish with a recipe for a French tarte Tatin dessert.

There was also a small press conference as well to wish the team well.
