From today, adult training may resume in pods of up to 15 outdoors and this will allow many clubs to resume training for the first time this year.
Multiple pods are permitted if space allows at the venue.
Inter-county travel is now also permitted from today in Ireland which we hope will see more activities taking place in the coming days and weeks. Please note however non-essential travel to Northern Ireland is not permitted at this time nor is travel from NI to ROI.
Training together again is exciting for us all but we must also remain vigilant and maintain the basics including social distancing, hand washing, and wearing face coverings or masks.
All AIRC Covid-19 protocols must be adhered to at all activities to ensure a safe environment for all.
For the time being, all activities must be pre-approved by AIRC and organising clubs/regions must submit an AIRC Activity Notification Form at least 5 days prior to the activity taking place. This is replacing the Event Notification Form for now. Activities cannot take place if this has not been submitted to National Office.
All activities are to take place behind closed doors with no spectators attending whilst all attendees must also complete an AIRC Covid-19 Attendance Form for contact tracing and health screening purposes prior to attending any activity. If an individual has not completed the form in advance, they cannot attend the activity.
Competitions are not permitted at this time.
