All AIRC competitions are now suspended after the Government moved the entire country to Level 3 restrictions as outlined in the ‘Resilience and Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for Living with Covid-19.’
The new restrictions were introduced earlier today following the Government’s announcement on Monday evening.
Training and other recreational activities* may continue however the following apply at this time:
- Members should not travel to activities outside of their county of residence.
- Training may continue, outdoors, with pods of no more than 15.
- Training may continue, indoors, with no more than 6 riders. The indoor arena must be primarily of an outdoor structure with open ventilation.
These measures are expected to remain in place until 26th October – just days before Halloween.
In line with FEI recommendations for Equestrian Sport, members are asked to wear face coverings/masks while attending activities. This is for individual safety and that of others.
We recognise the contribution our members, volunteers and officials have made so far in implementing and adhering to our covid-19 protocols and ask you to continue to be leaders in respect of compliance and adherence to the public health advice and AIRC protocols.
