Covid-19: Activities remain suspended for now

All activities of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs remain suspended for the foreseeable future following yesterday’s advice from the Government.

This includes all club, regional and national activities including meetings, training lessons, etc.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced new stringent measures designed to curb the spread of Covid-19 yesterday such as the closure of all non-essential retail businesses and restrictions on gatherings of more than four people, while all sporting events have been cancelled.

Earlier restrictions on schools, creches and colleges have been extended for a further three weeks with them remaining closed until 19th April.

As you are aware this is a rapidly evolving situation and is being monitored by the Board of Directors. We will keep you informed as updates occur.

Thank you for your patience, we hope you are all keeping safe and we look forward to seeing you soon when activities resume.
