Caroline O’Brien riding Champagne Sparkles (FR) won the Treo Eile Thoroughbred Award at the Equipeople sponsored AIRC National Eventing Championships last Sunday.

The Killcarrick rider ended up with the highest combined score of the 8 thoroughbreds competing at the championships who were eligible for consideration to win the €100 training bursary.

Champagne Sparkles (FR), the eight-year-old grey gelding, finished on 34.8.
