Competitions have been given the green light to proceed after the final Tier of the Associations Pathway for the Resumption of AIRC Activities was given the go-ahead.
New protocols specifically for competitions were included in the third version of the Pathway document which was published last week.
We would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to get our activities back up and going again and to all of our members who have been patient and understanding during what has been an uncertain and difficult time for us all.
Clubs, members and organisers are reminded that they have a responsibility to ensure our sport is conducted in a safe manner and that full adherence to the provisions of our protocols such as social distancing are implemented and adhered to.
A Covid-19 Compliance Officer, who has received training for the role, must oversee all activities and everyone attending activities or competitions must follow their guidance at all times.
It is important that everyone attending an event are familiar with the protocols and abide by them.
Competitor’s need to Arrive, Compete and Leave. By this we mean you must spend the minimum amount of time on site as you can. You must continue to social distance at all times. This is really important, and underpins our resumption plans.
