The International Affairs Committee of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) has confirmed the team to represent the Association at the British Riding Clubs (BRC) NAF National Championships in September.
Killossery Riding Club, will for the first time, travel to the Lincolnshire Show grounds for the NAF Senior Open Team and Individual Championship on Saturday 2nd September where they will compete against the best riding clubs in Britain.
The team includes Lisa Kennedy (Dunsoughly Nelson), Brian Cassidy (Looks Easy), Jacqui Boland (Maverick Na Ri) and Aoife Maguire (Mane Attraction).
Last year, Carne Riding Club finished in fifth place overall while Ann Lambert took a podium finish on Killinick Bouncer in third place. The Association has previously won the BRC team championship when Greenhills Riding Club won the title in 2010.
The Chef d’Equipe has also been confirmed as Susan Cusack, who is a former secretary of the Dublin based club.
A.I.R.C. chairman Tony Ennis said,I wish the team the very best of luck at the championships in September. They will face strong opposition from the best teams in the UK but I know they will do their very best.”

The British Riding Clubs NAF National Championships take place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September at the Lincolnshire Showgrounds in Lincoln, England.
