On Sunday, May 26th, Cill Dara Riding Club hosted the AIRC West Leinster Region Connolly’s RED MILLS Team Dressage Championship Qualifier at Redhills Stud in Kildare, drawing nine teams from across the region. The teams competed fiercely for the coveted spots at the AIRC National Dressage Championships in Mullingar this September.

The Abbeylands team, consisting of Chloe Kirwan, Marie-Therese Meade, Eamonn Moore, and Anne Moran, emerged victorious with a combined score of 213.27 taking home the winners’ flowers and  AIRC rugs. Close behind was the Killcarrick Yellow team, featuring Emily Cunningham, Emma Dillon, Niamh O’Friel, and Nadine Taylor, who scored 210.89. The home team, Cill Dara Red, finished a very close third with a score of 210.05, less than one point off second place. The Cill Dara Red team included Sarah Gayer, Katie McParland, Julie Polden, and Sara Wood.
