Headfort Riding Club won The Irish Field sponsored newly introduced teams of 3 dressage competition at the AIRC Riding Clubs Festival at Mullingar Equestrian, Co. Westmeath on Sunday (9th June).

The Meath-based club claimed the top spot on a score of 69.94% ahead of the eight teams in what was a tight contest with just over 3% separating the top three teams.

The winning team comprised of Beverly Hutchinson (Lost In Translation BH), Lynsey Rogers (Oreo Lad), and Zoe Grogan (Diabolo De La Cour).

They were followed closely by the Thomastown and District team of Lisa O’Neill (Mon Petit Chou), Tara Phelan (Lux Chester), and Yvonne Hoban (Aghalona Pop It) on 68.89%.

Border Counties claimed the remaining podium place after Colleen Moffett (Mortlestowncastle Rio), Jennifer Coles (Cloncaw Smartie), and Louise Hughes (Some Have Mercy (IRE)) registered 67.10%.

Teams from Kerry, and two other teams from Headfort filled fourth, fifth, and sixth place respectively.
