A data protection webinar will take place next month to bring clubs up-to-date with their responsibilities with regard to data protection matters in the club.

The webinar will be delivered online on Tuesday 4th October 2022 by Rachel Power from O’Dwyer Power and will cover the basics of data protection obligations for clubs, and the use of WhatsApp in clubs.  This will be followed by a Q&A session.

It will commence at 7:30 pm and will take approximately 90 minutes in total.

Rachel has worked as a data protection consultant and outsourced data protection officer since before the GDPR came into force. She has studied data protection law with the Kings Inns Law Society and is a certified privacy professional and privacy manager with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.  She also lectures on data protection compliance with PAT Fintech.

Each club can register up to two delegates to attend the seminar, free of charge.
