Twinfort Riding Club won the Irish Field sponsored team dressage challenge at the AIRC Riding Clubs Festival at Mullingar Equestrian, Co. Westmeath on Sunday (9th June).
The Limerick-based club, which last won the competition in 2013, triumphed on a total of 208.46% ahead of 19 other teams in what was a close contest with just over 2% separating the top three teams.
The successful quartet comprised of Owen Smyth (Bliss), Tabitha Millar Hagerty (Commanche Moll), Margaret O’Riordan (Casanova Kenry) and Ann Glynn (Ballylynch HP).
They were followed closely by the South West team of Astrid Blom (Grelson ZK), Caitlin Steel (Blackwater Flintstone), Emma Dair (Mac Coul De Sauviat) and Tammie O’ Brien (Tessarru) on 207.62.
The remaining podium place went to Michelle Dunphy (Mister Gucci), Hanna Bjoremark (Matildas Mossy), Charlotte Clear (Big Meadow Ollie) and Jennifer Denny (Wild Domaine) from Mill Road Riding Club on 206.09.
Teams from Fingal, Dunbyrne and Ashbrook filled fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
