Knocknamana County Riding Club won the recent Team Dressage Qualifier at Skevanish Equestrian Centre in Innishannon, Co. Cork on 7th July 2019.
Five teams representing three clubs from the South West region took part in the qualifier which was a close contest as only 0.08% separated the top two teams.
The winning team of Caroline Marwood (Cobalto XI), Frances Cogan (Wallnut), Hilary Parmenter (Ringabella Reel), Jan Musgrave (Glenara Dun That) ran out narrow victors on a score of 407.99%.
The runners up – Astrid Blom (Grelson ZK), Sarah Mc Cutcheon (Camaro TS), Mary O’ Donovan (Paddy Soprano), Vanessa O’ Sullivan (Jolly Good Fellow RSH) – from South West were just behind on 407.91 but also secured a ticket for next months team final.
Highland Lodge was next best on 405.269% while other teams from South West (405.14%) and Highland Lodge (384.34%) filled the fourth and fifth place respectively.
The individual riders who qualified for the Connolly’s RED MILLS National Dressage Championships on 18th August 2019 at Mullingar Equestrian were also confirmed and are available at this link.
