Clubs are being encouraged to get their applications ready for the latest round of Sports Capital Funding.
Sports Minister Shane Ross has confirmed that €40 million is available to develop sports infrastructure around the country, under the 2018 programme.
Last year saw €22,500 shared between five riding clubs who applied last year for a range of projects.
Applications can only be made online from 9am on Friday 7th September until 5pm on Friday 19th October, 2018.
All applicants must be registered on the Department’s online system and the Ministers encouraged any clubs which are not already registered to do so now.
The guide to making an application was also published on the Department’s website today on www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie. Registrations will close at 5pm on Friday 5th October.
Clubs who wish to register on the Department’s online system can do so now at www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie. Once registered, all applications must be made on the same website.
