3 teams qualify from the Connolly’s RED Mills Dressage Championship Qualifer from the Midlands Region

The Midlands region hosted their dressage qualifier on the 29th of June at Emerald Equestrian, sponsored by Connolly’s Red Mills. A total of 11 teams took part with the top three teams going through to the dressage championship to be held at Mullingar Equestrian on the 17th of August. We had 2 arenas on the go for the day, with superb entries for all competitions. The 11 teams were made up of Mosstown, Kilrainey, Headfort, Mullingar, Annaharveys and Mo chara, with 2 teams and Tara Hill with 3 teams.

This left the Tara hill team on a combined score of 214.38 the best of the day and they took the top spot.

Chris Carter 69.40
Jemma King 69.32

Gave them a total of 211.79, good enough for the 2nd spot. That will leave a busy championship for Tara Hill but in particular for Chris Carter who has qualified on 2 teams with his two horses and also as an individual.

The Annaharvey team, who have qualified for the RDS team challenge, proved they are no one-trick pony and took 3rd place with the following team.
