The Federation of Irish Sport has announced that the Volunteers in Sport Awards will return this year.

The Federation has joined forces with EBS to champion the some 450,000 adult volunteers who deliver sport and physical activity nationwide every week.

The 2019 awards will take place on the 12th of November and will recognise individuals from every county across the island of Ireland for their unstinting work in local clubs and communities.

FIS is delighted to have the support of EBS in shining a light on the efforts of the army of volunteers around Ireland who do so much work for the benefited of Irish society. They are another example of why Sport Matters!
