Mo Chara Riding Club claimed the midlands qualifier for the Horseware Team Show Jumping Championship for the second successive year, last Sunday at Mullingar Equestrian Centre, Co. Westmeath.

Of the 17 teams taking part, just one, Mullingar Riding Club, managed to complete the opening round with nothing to add but after the second round, the Mo Chara team of Suzann Keogh (Tara Emerald), Chloe Fleming (Blondie Ellie), Brian Dunne (Quarrycrest River Dancer and Liam Keogh (Queen Ruby) emerged victorious on a total of 8 penalties.

Second-placed Ross House will contest the Wild Card qualifier at next month’s Riding Clubs Festival.
